『ワンダーホーク』発売
玩具大手のバンダイは新型携帯ゲーム機『ワン
ダーホーク』の開発を正式に発表した。
同機は現行マシン『ワンダースワン・レボリューシ
ョン』の後継機にあたり、CPU能力を大幅に向上
させたもの。また現行基幹OS"ALTIMIT"と完全
互換しており、ネットワーク端末として機能する。
同社関係筋によれば第一弾対応ソフトとしてCC
社の大ヒットネットワークゲーム『ザ・ワールド』の
移植版が予定されているとか。

"WonderHawk" Announcement
Major toy retailer, BANDAI, today
announced they are developing a new
handheld game device called "WonderHawk."
The device will be the successor to the
currently available "WonderSwan Revolution,"
and will have improved CPU specs.
BANDAI also announced that it will be
compatible with the current key network
OS, "ALTIMIT." and the device will also
act as an internet terminal as well.
According to company officials, CC
Corporation's popular online game "The
World" is slated to be one of the launch
titles.

répondant au nom de "WonderHawk."

The English text is the same in the North American and PAL versions.
The WonderSwan Revolution and WonderHawk are entirely fictional handheld gaming consoles unique to .hack's universe.
In reality
The WonderHawk (ワンダーホーク, Wandāhōku) is based on the WonderSwan (ワンダースワン, WandāSuwan), which was an actual handheld game console released by Bandai. The console series was initially released in 1999 before eventually being discontinued in 2003. No version of the console was released outside of Japan in any official capacity.
The WonderSwan Revolution is also a fictional upgrade to the WonderSwan. In reality, the original Wonderswan had two upgrades; the Wonderswan Color[1] and SwanCrystal[2].
